Noctessa — help

Venue settings

Everything about how your public site looks and reads: your name and logo, colours and fonts, the words and photos on each page, your contact details, your languages, and where you are on the map.

Open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose Venue settings.

How the screen is laid out

The left side is where you edit. It opens on a row of tabs — Branding, Site content, Languages and Payments — with more cards underneath them.

The right side is a Live preview: a phone showing your real public site. It updates as you type. Use the Home and Info buttons above it to switch pages, and the small arrow icon in its corner to open the site in a new tab.

A note at the top of the screen says it plainly: the preview updates live as you type, but changes only go public when you save. Each card has its own save button, so save the card you just edited.

Your name, logo and colours

Open the Branding tab. The card is called Identity & branding.

  • The first field, above Accent colour — your venue's name. This is what shows across your public site.
  • Accent colour — the one colour that runs through your site. Type a hex value such as #f4c25b, or click the little colour square next to the box to pick one visually. The two stay in step.
  • Display font — the face used for headings. Leave it on Default if you are happy.
  • Body font — the face used for ordinary text. Also has a Default.
  • Logo — press Upload image and choose a file. Once one is there you get Replace image and a remove button.
  • Favicon (browser-tab icon) — the tiny icon a browser shows on its tab. Same uploader. If you leave it empty your logo is used instead.

Press Save branding. A message confirms Branding saved — live immediately.

Tip: watch the preview while you try accent colours. It is much faster than saving and reloading.

The words and photos on your site

Open the Site content tab. This card is called Site content and is split into two pages: Home and Info. Both stay loaded, so you can edit across them and press Save content once.

If your site offers more than one language, a small Language bar sits above the fields. Click a language to type that version. Every language stays in place while you work — switching does not lose anything you already typed.

Home

Identity

  • Wordmark — lead and Wordmark — rest — your name split in two so the first part can be styled differently. For a venue called Casa Lume you might put "Casa" in the first and " Lume" in the second.
  • Tag — a short word under the name, such as "club" or "bar".

Hero — the top of your home page.

  • Tagline
  • Hero image — the big photo. Uses the same uploader as your logo.
  • Hero line (brand mark) — the large line of type across the image.
  • Hero eyebrow — the small line above it.
  • Hero subcopy — a sentence or two under it.

Footer / contact — this is where your contact details live.

  • Address
  • Area — the neighbourhood or district.
  • Opening hours — a list of rows. Each row has a Day and a Time, both of which you write in your own words ("Fri–Sat", "23:00 – 05:00"). Press Add row to add another, or the bin icon to remove one.
  • Age / door policy
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Instagram — your handle.
  • Map URL — paste a map share link so guests can tap through to directions.

Info

  • Info intro — the paragraph that introduces your venue.
  • Interior image and Bar image — two feature photos.
  • Gallery (extra photos) — press Add photo for each one. Thumbnails appear in a grid with a bin icon on each to remove it. You can have up to 12; after that the field tells you the maximum is reached.

Press Save content when you are done. A message confirms Content saved — live immediately.

The languages your site offers

Open the Languages tab. The card is called Site languages.

Tick every language your public site should offer under Enabled languages. The full list is English, Македонски, Español, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Português, Srpski and Hrvatski.

Then pick your Default language — the one a first-time visitor sees. The menu only lists languages you have ticked.

Press Save languages.

Two things to know:

  • You cannot turn off every language. The last one stays on.
  • If you enable only one language, the language switcher on your public site hides itself.

Enabling a language does not translate your words for you. Go to Site content, use the Language bar at the top, and write each version yourself. Anything you leave blank in a second language simply is not there for those visitors.

Where you are — city, country and the map

Scroll below the tabs to the Venue location card.

  1. Type your City.
  2. Choose your Country from the list.
  3. Press Save changes.

Your map location is found for you from those two — you never type coordinates. After saving, the line under the fields changes from We'll pin your venue on the map from your city and country when you save. to Map location detected followed by the position.

Your city and country are what let guests find you on the shared marketplace, so it is worth getting right.

Appearing on the marketplace

The Marketplace card has one tick box: List this venue on the marketplace.

It is ticked by default, which means you appear on the shared discovery pages where guests browse venues. Untick it and press Save changes to take your venue off them entirely. Your own site is unaffected either way.

Settings you can see but not change

The Operational settings card shows three things read-only:

  • Notification recipients — who gets emailed when a new reservation comes in
  • Privacy version
  • Timezone

These are managed for you. To change one, ask the Noctessa team.

Taking payments

The Payments tab is where in-venue payments are set up, so guests can prepay for a table. It works through your own account with a payment processor — you connect yours, the money goes to you, and Noctessa never holds it. Setting that up is covered on its own help page.

Erasing a guest's details

The Erase guest data card at the bottom handles a guest asking you to delete their details.

  1. Enter the guest's Guest email, their Guest phone, or both.
  2. Press Anonymize data.
  3. Confirm in the box that appears.

This anonymises that guest's personal details across every reservation at your venue. It cannot be undone. You will see either Anonymized with a count, or No matching reservations found.

The reservations themselves stay, so your history and numbers are intact — it is the personal details that go.

If something looks wrong

  • The preview will not load, and you see a note about opening the site in a new tab. That happens when your site is being edited from a different address than usual. Press Open the site to see your saved changes in a new tab.
  • You saved but the public site looks the same. Reload the public page in your browser. Also check you pressed the save button belonging to that card — each card saves on its own.
  • The colour box says "Hex colour, e.g. #8b8cf8". The accent must be a hex value starting with a #. Use the colour square next to the field and it will fill in a valid one for you.
  • It says "Enter a name". The name field cannot be left empty.
  • An upload failed. Try a smaller file, or a normal photo format, and upload again.
  • Some text is missing in one language. Open Site content, switch the Language bar to that language, and check for empty fields.
  • You cannot find fields for your venue name or address here. The name lives in Identity & branding, in the first field of that card, and the address guests read lives in Site content → Home → Footer / contact.
