Nightclub floor plan software
Draw the room once. Then use it every night: guests pick a table on your booking page, staff seat and move people from a phone, and part of the room can be closed and reopened as the night fills up.
The floor-plan editor
- Start from one of six club templates — Stage-Front Club, Square Club, Main Room + VIP Mezzanine, Boutique Club, Wide Hall or Concert Hall — trace your own outline point by point, or begin with an empty rectangle.
- Drag in what your room actually has: stage, DJ booth, bars, dance floor, VIP and smoking areas, sofas, walls, doors, stairs, columns, restrooms, coat check, cashier, security and text labels. You can put a photo or drawing of the venue behind the plan as a guide while you work.
- Tables come in six real shapes — round, square, rectangular, booth, high-top and lounge set — drawn with their chairs. Each has a label, a seat count from 1 to 50, a section such as “Terrace”, a type (Standard or VIP) and a stage band that records how close to the stage it sits. Set the scale from two known points and every size is in centimetres.
- Drag, resize, rotate, multi-select, align, spread evenly, duplicate a table along a row with automatic numbering, and nudge with the arrow keys; undo and redo; a snap grid. A venue can keep several layouts — standard, concert night, terrace open — and each event picks the one it runs on. A layout holds up to 500 tables and 300 room items. Applying a template never touches a table a guest has already booked.
The night-of workflow
- Pick the event from the dropdown; it opens on the one nearest to now. Every table is coloured by state — Free, Reserved, Held, Confirmed or Blocked — and the same buttons act as legend and filter.
- Type a name, phone number or email and the matching tables light up on the map. Open the booking straight from the match.
- Tap a free table to seat a walk-in (only the name is required) or to assign a booking that already exists. Auto-assign puts a guest on the nearest suitable free table without you choosing.
- Move a guest with “Switch table”: tap the destination; if someone is already there, the two swap. “Free table” returns a booking to the unassigned list.
- Change a booking's status, voucher tier and notes from the table panel without leaving the map. When a colleague seats someone from another device, your map catches up on its own.
- Built for standing up: a full-floor view on a phone or tablet with pinch and drag, and the table panel docked at the bottom so the map stays visible.
Guests pick their own table
Switch on “Guest picks the table” for an event and your booking page shows the real room. Guests tap a free table, see its seat count and can change their mind before confirming. On a phone they get a full-screen floor with pinch-to-zoom.
Guests see three states: available for their package, taken, or part of another package. They never see who booked a table — no names, no phone numbers, no party details.
Two guests going for the same table at the same second cannot both get it. One booking wins; the other is asked to pick again.
Leave the toggle off and Noctessa assigns the nearest suitable free table automatically, preferring tables in the stage band that matches the guest's voucher tier.
Close part of the room, open it later
Most nights you do not open the whole venue at once. Give tables a section in the editor and it appears under Sections on the live floor plan for every event.
“Block available tables” holds every free table in that section for the night: guests cannot pick them online and staff see them as blocked. Bookings already on those tables are kept exactly as they are.
When the first part of the room fills up, “Release this section's blocks” opens it again in one tap. The count next to each section shows blocked, booked and available tables at a glance.
A single table can be blocked the same way — for a booking taken by phone or Instagram that you have not entered yet.
What it does not do yet
No minimum-spend or bottle-service tracking, no POS integration and no promoter commissions. Voucher and prepayment amounts are recorded per booking; what a party consumes at the bar is not.
