SevenRooms alternatives for nightclubs: six options compared

SevenRooms is a restaurant-first CRM with quote-only pricing. Six nightlife-oriented alternatives, what each publishes, and which kind of club each one suits.

Written by the Noctessa team; Noctessa is one of the products compared. We have an interest in the outcome, so every claim about another vendor is taken from a page we read on the review date and numbered to the source list at the bottom. We did not test the other products, and we say plainly where Noctessa falls short. Last reviewed: .

Why clubs look for a SevenRooms alternative

SevenRooms headlines its site “More than just reservations” and describes itself as helping “restaurants increase sales, delight guests and keep them coming back—automatically”[1]. It serves a long list of venue types — restaurants and restaurant groups, hotels, membership clubs, nightclubs and bars, sports and entertainment venues, breweries and wineries — and its marketing hub includes CRM and segmentation[1]. In short, it is a hospitality CRM that grew out of restaurants and also serves nightlife.

That is a strength, not a flaw: its nightlife page, “Bar & nightclub management software built for profitability”, is the most explicit statement of the bottle-service workflow among the pages we read —“managing minimums and tracking table spend in real time”, bottle service and VIP experiences, guest list and table reservation management, ticket and VIP-package sales, and POS data joined to guest profiles[2]. If your club runs on minimums and you want a CRM behind them, SevenRooms may well be the right answer.

The reasons clubs look elsewhere are usually practical. The price is not published: Starter, Growth and Premium all sit behind “Get a quote”, with email marketing, event management, Voice AI, WhatsApp and text marketing, API access and a group portal sold as add-ons[3]. A single club that mainly needs table bookings and a door list may not want a CRM contract and a sales process to get there.

How we chose the alternatives

We included systems whose own pages describe nightclub table reservations, and compared them on what they publish: price, the venue type they suit, and the three things SevenRooms is strongest at — minimums, POS spend and promoters. “—” in the table means the vendor does not state it on the pages we read, not that the product lacks it. Prices are as displayed on the review date.

1. TablelistPro

TablelistPro’s nightclub page puts “reservations, deposits, guest lists, and table assignments — in one place”, with deposit links, booking widgets, a built-in CRM and promoter tracking: “Track every promoter, every list, and every dollar they drive — in real time”[5]. It publishes Basic at $99, Standard at $299 and Deluxe at $499 per month, with a floorplan builder in Standard, an Omnivore POS integration as a Deluxe add-on and a full refund within the first 30 days[4]. Suits: a VIP-and-guest-list club that wants deposits and promoter accountability from one vendor at a published price.

2. Mr. Black

Mr. Black covers guest list, bottle service and table management with real-time updates on tables and sections, promoter and employee management, digital tickets that can be assigned to promoters, and real-time sales data on bars, tables and sections[7]. Deposits go out as an SMS payment link, can be marked non-refundable, and can require a selfie ID against chargebacks[8]. Standard is $300 per month for up to 29 tables, Premium $500 per month unlimited, with a trial tier of 10 tables and 3 employees[6]. Suits: a bottle-service club large enough to justify the $300 step.

3. Vemos

Vemos lists an interactive VIP table map, table deposits, a searchable and scannable guest list, promoter tracking for payouts, reservation check-in and a POS link to Clover, Toast or Lightspeed to “track guest spend automatically”[10]. Venue Management starts at $150 per month with a 14-day free trial, and other modules are sold à la carte[9]. Suits: the closest published answer to SevenRooms’ spend tracking without a quote process, if you already run one of those three POS systems.

4. UrVenue

UrVenue lists minimum spend, rentals and admissions as inventory, pre-payments, deposits and no-show fees, live seating maps, guest lists per booking channel, digital check-in, POS integration that links check spend to parties, and owner reports for commission calculations[11]. Pricing depends on venue size, features, integrations and number of venues, and onboarding “can range from 2 weeks to a month or two”[12]. Suits: multi-venue and resort operators who want SevenRooms-level minimums with a nightlife-first vendor.

5. Clubtech

Clubtech calls its product “the nightclub table booking system that ends the DM-and-doorman era”, with map-based table booking on a 3D floor map, prepayments and deposits, packages with a table minimum, door lists, QR scanning and POS integration[13]. Pricing is scoped after a discovery call[14]. Suits: beach clubs, day clubs and venues selling prepaid furniture by zone.

6. Noctessa

Noctessa is reservation software built around a live floor plan. The venue draws its room once; guests book on the venue’s own branded site in nine languages and, if the venue switches it on for an event, pick their own free table on the map. With prepayment on, the guest pays a package amount through the venue’s own Stripe or PayPal account (or cPay) — the money goes straight to the venue and refunds are made in that processor’s dashboard. A confirmed booking gets an emailed QR ticket, and door staff see the scanner and tonight’s guest list. See the floor plan, table booking and door check-in pages.

Where it falls short of SevenRooms. No CRM marketing suite, no minimum-spend tracking, no POS integration, no promoter commissions, no SMS waitlist and no time-slot restaurant booking. If those are why you looked at SevenRooms, Noctessa is not the replacement. Price: €39 per month or €174 per six months (€29 a month), per venue, every feature, no per-booking fee, 7-day free trial — see pricing. Suits: a club whose problem is bookings lost in DMs and a door that cannot see the floor.

How to choose

  • You sell on minimums and want a CRM: stay with SevenRooms, or compare UrVenue and Clubtech.

  • You run VIP tables with promoters and deposits: TablelistPro or Mr. Black.
  • You need guests to book a real table and a door that works, at a fixed low price: Noctessa.
